Our current practice areas include Family Law, Administrative Law, Wills/Estate Planning and Elder Law. We also have extensive litigation experience representing individuals in Tribal Courts.

While we do not seek to encourage continued conflict and will try our best to negotiate a reasonable resolution, if a trial becomes necessary, we are prepared. We are not afraid of tough cases. We serve Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston and King County, residents.

Desiree Hosannah

Desiree Hosannah has been a licensed attorney since 1996. She began her practice in NYC as an IOLTA fellow with the Legal Aid Society of NYC.

She was licensed to practice law in WA in 2001 and has practiced Family Law, Administrative Law and a variety of related areas of law since that time in WA. She is a fierce advocate, strong litigator and a person who believes that everyone deserves to have their voice heard in court.

Desiree has been a judge, a Guardian Ad Litem, and mediator. She has a well rounded collection of legal skills to address your legal needs. More importantly, she is a wife and mother of three amazing children - she gets it.

Constance Hosannah

The oldest daughter of Desiree, Constance is a future attorney with a passion for advocacy and social justice. Constance graduated from Queens College, The City University of New York with her Bachelor and Master degrees in Urban Studies and Urban Affairs, respectively.

In her free time, she seeks experiences which allow her to help members of under-represented and marginalized groups and volunteers with a plethora of community entities. She also serves as an alumna member of Sigma Delta Tau’s national Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Constance’s passion for family law and for the the Hosannah Law Group’s practice remain evident through her continued work for the firm and as a Title 26 Guardian Ad Litem for Pierce, Kitsap, and Grays Harbor Counties. She is currently a JD candidate at CUNY School of Law. She anticipates graduating from law school in Spring 2024. Constance proudly looks forward to working as an attorney beside her mother and father in the coming years.

Vernon Hosannah

Vernon Hosannah shares a life-long commitment to public service and social justice like his wife, Desiree. He is a prodigious talent, a renaissance man, whose distinctive skills compliment the public interest values of our law firm.

Vernon Hosannah shares a life-long commitment to public service and social justice like his wife, Desiree. He is a prodigious talent, a renaissance man, whose distinctive skills compliment the public interest values of our small yet dynamic law firm.

Mr. Hosannah holds and or has held several professional licenses in WA State with credentials, which have included: residential teacher, program administrator, principal, superintendent, real estate broker and counselor certified certification.

In addition, his professional experience includes employment as a parole officer for the State of Washington and as a Title 26 Guardian ad Litem for Pierce and Kitsap Counties. He is a member of the Puyallup Tribal Court Bar. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and a Juris Doctorate, Mr. Hosannah has fulfilled his mission of public service primarily in helping our youth.

Now, he has expanded his efforts towards fighting for all people who have experienced injustice. In furtherance of his life-long commitment to public service and social justice, Mr. Hosannah has chosen to apply his considerable acumen and unyielding spirit to righting wrongs at the Hosannah Law Group.

Kate Woloszyn

Kate has been a paralegal with the Hosannah Law Group since 2021. After interning with the firm in the summer of 2019, she became more interested in the law. She is passionate about assisting clients in family law matters.

Kate hopes to attend law school in the not-too-distant future. She graduated from CUNY Queens College with her Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and English in 2020. At the beginning of 2022, she graduated from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice with her Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, with two concentrations in Criminal Law and Procedure and Criminology.

Jordan Rhett

Jordan has been with the Hosannah Law Group since 2010. His first experiences and interactions while working for the Hosannah Law Group, PLLC encouraged him to further his legal education.

Jordan has been with the Hosannah Law Group since 2010. His first experiences and interactions while working for the Hosannah Law Group, PLLC encouraged him to further his legal education. While attending Central Washington University, he continued in his passion for helping others by working as a Community Service and Work Crew Supervisor for the Kittitas County Juvenile Court.

In 2014, Jordan graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice and a minor in Psychology.

Upon graduating, he returned to the Hosannah Law Group to gain further legal experience before beginning his law school studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in beautiful sunny San Diego, CA. While studying at Thomas Jefferson, Jordan volunteered in the school’s tax clinic, assisting low-income individuals with filing their tax returns (earning recognition for completing over 50 hours of pro bono service).

In addition, he served as a class-representative on the school’s Student Bar Association, and in the school law library, assisting students, faculty, and alumni in locating desired materials in the library or its databases.

Jordan graduated from Thomas Jefferson in May of 2018 with his Juris Doctorate. This year, he intends on sitting for the Washington State Bar Exam.

Carolyn Hosannah

Carolyn Hosannah is a paralegal at the Hosannah Law Group, and has been with the firm for 5 years. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Food Studies. She is passionate about food sustainability and food justice.

When not working at the Hosannah Law Group she volunteers at non-profit organizations working to create a sustainable and equitable food systems. She hopes to one day join her mother’s practice as an attorney.
Accountant / Office Manager

Jackie Johnson

As our detail-oriented accountant, Jacqueline Johnson has been meeting the bookkeeping needs of Hosannah Law Group and the firm’s clients for the past eight years.

As our detail-oriented accountant, Jacqueline Johnson has been meeting the bookkeeping needs of Hosannah Law Group and the firm’s clients for the past eight years.

She performs all financial aspects such as writing client fee agreements and billing, as well as the necessary internal financial transactions a business needs to be successful and to be in compliance with all taxing agencies. In addition, Jackie serves as the firm’s office manager, specializing in the financial segments essential during client representation.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Jackie got her start in accounting while working as an Office Assistant at a local law firm in 1991. She obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting from Pierce College 1995 and has worked primarily for law firms.

Jackie was raised in Montana and moved to Tacoma in 1985. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, working in her yard, camping and fishing.
